Corey Nelson decommits for OU per ESPN (OU Insider). Stoops and Venables can die of gonorrhea.
Not to worry, Les Miles stopped in to see Jarrett Fobbs last night as well.
UPDATE: The assholes at OU Insider who broke the story are now backing down. This is good for now.

I think this report is premature. Word from inside the program this morning is that Nelson is still a commit to us.

False alarm. It looks like he is strong on his commitment. Nelson is a solid kid by all accounts, but I still won’t be confident until if and when he signs.
Losing Nelson on the same day the Horns haul Jeffcoat/Hicks would have made for one shitty weekend.

Nothing is official until the letter rolls off the machine, but I would be surprised if this one doesn’t go our way. OU hit him with everything they had and he reaffirmed his commitment to us the next day.
I’m no recruiting wizard, but I see him staying with the good guys.
