Frankly, this is the kind of game we need to dominate right from the get go. If we are an NCAA tournament team, we need to blow out CU.

Khris Middleton continues to develop more rapidly than planned due to the loss of Derrick Roland. He has the potential to be an outstanding “4″ for us.

I also am looking forward to seeing if Dufault has improved any for CU. An impressive physical specimen, but I find it hard to understand how he is only averaging 3.4 rebounds per game.

A big win today that allows us to rest some starters would set us up nicely for the next few games. We would be 3-2 in conference (14-5 overall) with a win today. A well rested team might snag a victory over OSU on Wednesday night. That sure would be a nice Big XII road game to steal to help us out come March. We host Tech next Saturday and could potentially be 5-2 heading into the tough string of @ Mizzou, Baylor, @Tech, Kansas. To get to 9 wins, we’ll need to steal one on the road and this coming Wednesday in Stillwater sets up nicely to be that game.

But it starts with a big victory today.
